Michael Kiwanuka
Kiwanuka is a British-Ugandan soul musician producing work that is both timeless and contemporary. His 2016 album Love & Hate, went to number one and was nominated for a Brit Award, while the magnificent orchestral title track Cold Little Heart serves as the opening theme for the series Big Little Lies and launched him into international stardom. In 2020 he won the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize for his self-titled third studio album.
Brittany Howard
Howard is best known for fronting the Americana band Alabama Shakes. Their debut album Boys & Girls was released in 2012, spearheaded by their signature track 'Hold On' as lead single, and shot up the Billboard charts. The next record Sound & Color further cemented the band's status as modern rock greats, earning them three Grammy awards. Howard released her debut solo album in 2019, earning herself a Grammy of her own for the single 'Stay High'.
