Walt Disney himself once said, 'We should set a new pattern, a new way to use music that weaves it into the story, a philosophy that aided in the development in the scoring and sounds of cinema across many genres. His partnership with Carl Stalling on early Mickey Mouse-related projects led the way for the likes of stage and screen musical icons Alan Menken and Hans Zimmer, who wrote the music for Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King. This concert series celebrates and honors Disney's most magical moments with brilliant technical skill and artistry from Oregon's beloved symphony.
