Positively Spooky

The man who made his mark on generations is being honored this fall, as the Oregon Symphony performs a selection of Danny Elfman's compositions from the movies of Tim Burton. From Beetlejuice to The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands to Batman, this evening will have it all! Not only that, Burton's original storyboards and sketches will be shown on the big screen to accompany the orchestra. Conductor Deanna Tham will take the lead as she guides the symphony through an enchanting and spooky night of music.

Danny Elfman is an award-winning composer and singer-songwriter who has been working with goth icon Tim Burton since the 1980s, with their most recent collaboration, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice coming out this fall.
