Oregon Symphony - Beethoven x Beyonce
A night like no other!
Why see Oregon Symphony - Beethoven x Beyonce?
Crazy In Symphony
What's the link between Queen Bey and King Bee? According to composer and conductor Steve Hackman, both assume new identities and concepts with each of their works, Beyonce per album, and Beethoven with each symphony. In this one-night-only event, the Oregon Symphony blends together fifteen of Beyonce's biggest hits with Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, creating the ultimate and unexpected dance melody that the world was missing. The evening will also play host to three incredible female soloists, each belting out the Queen's songs. This will be a night like no other, so get your tickets while you can!
Beethoven is one of the world's most famous and honored composers, responsible for unforgettable works including the Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise, and Symphony No.5.
Beyonce is widely regarded as the queen of pop, and one of the greatest vocalists of all time, having won the most Grammy Awards by any artist. Previously a member of the girl group Destiny's Child, Beyonce struck out on her own in 2003 and released hit after hit, including Single Ladies, Crazy in Love, Run the Word (Girls), and most recently, Texas Hold Em.
