Renowned flamenco virtuoso Antonio Rey showcases his thunderous ability live on stage at the Alberta Rose Theatre this May! The Grammy-winning flamenco maestro from Madrid has quietly earned a global reputation for his jaw-dropping mastery on the guitar and as a composer, having accompanied flamenco legends like Manuela Carrasco and Farruquito and toured Japan with Yoko Komatsubara. 

Rey began playing at ten years old and by the age of just eighteen was already composing for the New Spanish Ballet. In 2020, he clinched the 'Best Flamenco Album' at the 21st Latin Grammy Awards for "Flamenco Sin Fronteras", validating his growing reputation as one of the modern faces of raw flamenco brilliance.
